Since Vasir's attack the apartment hadn't felt like home. Not that she had spent much time there, anyway, being busy chasing the Shadow Broker and then becoming the Shadow Broker and staying on his ship on Hagalaz's orbit. She had only come to Nos Astra out of necessity, to cut ties to her previous life and make sure everything was taken properly care of. It was during her stay that she learned Shepard had gone through the Omega 4 relay and was going to put an end to the Collectors for good. Needless to say, this did not make Liara happy. Once again she had to cope with her tremendous fear of losing Shepard, and just after having her back, no less.
